On 4 November 2025, SEARCCT delivered its University Lecture Series (ULS) at University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) with a session presented by Ms. Siti Aisyah Tajari titled “Introduction to Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism in Malaysia.”
The lecture provided students with an overview of Malaysia’s terrorism landscape, key factors contributing to radicalisation, and the vital role of prevention, awareness, and community engagement in countering violent extremism. The programme saw strong participation, with nearly 200 students attending and demonstrating keen interest in the subject matter.
Through initiatives such as ULS, SEARCCT continues to collaborate with higher learning institutions to foster knowledge, promote critical thinking, and strengthen national security awareness among Malaysia’s youth.
