The Director-General of the Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism
(SEARCCT), YBhg. Datin Paduka Nur Ashikin Mohd Taib, held a strategic meeting
with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK), Universiti
Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Professor Dr. Asmady Idris, on 4 November 2025.
The discussion centred on strengthening collaborative efforts between SEARCCT and FSSK, particularly in areas such as joint research, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and public awareness programmes to enhance capacity in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE).
