Planning & Training
The main objective of the Planning and Training Division of SEARCCT is to develop and organise comprehensive capacity building programmes on preventing and countering terrorism. SEARCCT’s programmes focus on enhancing the knowledge and skills of participants on counter-terrorism measures as well as establishing networks for further cooperation.
SEARCCT has taken the initiative to further strengthen its programme syllabus, enhance existing cooperation with relevant institutions both local and foreign, and establish further links with international and regional organisations. Programmes developed by SEARCCT will focus on existing and future threats catering the needs of its clientele.
SEARCCT is planning to conduct 26 capacity building programmes covering all five areas of SEARCCT flagships as follows :
Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE)
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) and Crisis Management
Critical Infrastructure
Protection (CIP)
Investigation and Legal Aspects
Terrorism Financing
